We are kicking off our 2021 social media campaign by introducing you to James Garrett. James is studio number one on our tour.
Originally from London, England he and his wife recently moved from Atlanta to escape the fast pace of city life. Always wanting to live in the NC mountains, they now call Alleghany county their home.
Each week we will be featuring one of our artists. We look forward to meeting you all in person during the October studio tour.
inspired by his life experiences and travels, James creates paintings each with their own story. Venetian Plaster is his chosen medium. He composes his pieces using contemporary landscape, non-objective and abstract themes. The unique tools he works with are as colorful as his paintings.
